Cynthia Thomas, 1954-2008, Rest in Peace

A member of our extended SDB Center family is home with the Lord.

Kate Shepard, wife of our Conference Treasurer and Memorial Fund Manager Morgan Shepard, said goodbye to her mother, Cynthia Thomas, on Christmas afternoon. Cindi, of Charlestown, Rhode Island (shown in the photo with grandson Ben), succumbed to pancreatic cancer.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Thomas family. May we look to the "God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God" (2 Corin. 1:3-4).
