Heading toward Financial Peace

Congratulations to the Milton Church's first graduating class of Financial Peace University.
Seventeen people attended the 12-week course this fall. During that time, they paid off over $54,000 in debt, received (and said 'NO' to) over 3 million dollars in credit card offers (in junk mail), and cut up about 80 credit cards on their way to becoming debt-free. The class was a huge success for the church and community.
The church plans to start another class in January.

Going through this was a great experience. The concept of getting a budget down on paper is a great help. It's nice to tell your money where to go, instead of wondering where it went.
